Yeah! Our New Council

So tonight was the swearing in ceremony!  What a great bunch of kids. I can't wait for all the fun events and activities!  We're going to have a blast!  The coolest part is... it's all free.  Not only do we get a cool t-shirt, but we get lot's of great character building experiences, and tons of service opportunities! Yippy.  Well, we can't forget Lagoon Day in July, and the awesome food and fun at our Retreats too!  Seriously no cost!  OK Ok.... so if anyone wants to go to the Conference at USU, (which is optional) that costs.  THat's the only thing, and you get the same great experiences and fun at our Retreats!  What a great program!

Summer events

Youth Council comes through again with flying colors.  West Point 4th of July activities of face painting, blow-up toys, and parade were enhanced by the service of you great kids!  Thanks so much.

Our garden flowers are growing great.  In August we plan to deliver them to the Retirement Home Residents.  Those zinnas are beautiful!

Our Lagoon Day was a blast as always!  We love and appreciate all you kids have done for our city.

A New Year!

Time is passing us by as we busily volunteer and build up our community. What better things to be doing with our extra time than this. Since our Veterans Program we have made fleece blankets for the Soldiers, collected signatures on petition forms for our anti-tobacco campaign in regards to the dissolvable nicotine tablets that we don't want brought into our State, and served hot cocoa, performed back-ground music, and entertained for the Lighting Ceremony. Many other wonderful things have taken place, like our debates and Kalebs Terrets presentation at our meetings. A small group of our Youth Council even had a wonderful, educational tour at WSU in regards to scholarships! We look forward to Legislator Day soon! Thank you Youth! YOU MAKE IT HAPPEN!
