Last nights meeting




Hey kids, Thanks so much for all your help sanding blocks for the Festival of the Trees!! We finished assembling the "bag of blocks" today! They are so cute!! They will be sold-out fast!

Those youth council kids that haven't been able to join us... please come if you can. We miss you.

Also, last night's retirement home visit was a great success! Many songs played, and visiting with the Elderly!!! Thankyou, thankyou... you kids are awesome.

Upcoming events.... include our mtg on December 2nd will be a guest speaker....Gary Peterson. He is on the City Council and the Liason over Youth Council. You won't want to miss out!

December 7th is the Lighting Ceremony at City Hall. We need you to do the concession stand which basically intells handing out hot chocolate! Also, we will be taking pictures of kids with Santa!

December 12th is a mock trajedy where we get to dress us like wounded, natural disaster
victims for the Cert Program. This will be at 8:30-11:00 at the Job Corps @ the Freeport Center. Chris Tremea is director, and we will be volunteering under him.

The third Wednesday in December will be a $2.00 limit gift exchange/Christmas party! We will also assemble gift baskets for the Retirement Home, and sing Christmas carols!!

Wednesday's Meeting!!!

You won't want to miss this exciting time of sanding blocks, and assembling Christmas bags for Festival of the Trees. This will be so fun. Also remember, following we will walk over to the Family Tree Retirement Home and perform, play games, and visit. So bring musical instruments, and your favorite game!!
